COMMUNITY CONNECTION
While waiting for your state to approve licensure, it is imperative that you begin plugging into our agency zoom huddles, company calls, and dial rooms. Your hiring agent will send you a list of current calls as well as how to access them. These will be great resources for you as you get started.
PASSED STATE EXAM OR ALREADY LICENSED
COMPLETE ONBOARDING APPLICATION
TEXT YOUR HIRING MANAGER WHEN AT THE POINT. THEY WILL SEND YOUR ONBOARDING APPLICATION
YOU WILL RECEIVE A WECOME EMAIL ONCE APPROVED BY OUR HOME OFFICE. THEN, COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING STEPS WHILE CONTINUING TO PLUG INTO TEAM CALLS.
1) AML TRAINING
While you wait for license approval, please complete AML training. This training will be needed in the future when we begin carrier contracting.
2) E&O INSURANCE
While you wait for license approval, please obtain E&O insurance. This insurance is required for MOST of our carriers. Proof of insurance will also be required when we begin carrier contracting.

5) SUBMIT FIRST APPLICATION
We recommend all new agents write an application on themselves, spouse, or child as soon as they get OPT log in credentials. This can be a large or small policy – it does not matter! What matters is that you experience the process. Doing so will familiarize you with our quoting tools, the e-application process, and give you an idea of what the client experience is like. It is also a great time to work out any kinks you may have on your end before writing on a lead or warm market client. Please connect with your hiring agent to begin this process.
3) SFG APPROVAL - SET UP SURELC
TEXT LUKE JACKSON (agency owner) - 252.524.1997 - once completed. He will send you over your first carriers to contract with. The More Business You Write, the more carriers you’ll have access to.
6) SEASONED NEW AGENT
Work through the training links below as you have time. This training will be super helpful in getting started here as an agent. Submit 6 apps = SNA

7) PROMOTION
Your first goal is to promote in commission level. You can do these one of two ways – as a producer or builder. Please talk with your hiring agent about the two track options.
